SemantiFire® - Enterprise Semantic Search Engine

SemantiFire® is a semantic search technology that is developed on the concept of Semantic Web. Current enterprise search solutions provide a way to search all the content available in an enterprise intranet using keywords as queries. Often, the keyword searches in an enterprise are not enough to bring the correct document in the top results. This might be due to the limited vocabulary size and the mismatch between the queries and document vocabulary.

SemantiFire® adds a layer of rich metadata to the documents in the enterprise which improves the recall. Additionally, the semantic processing engine identifies key concepts in a document and also the relationships between the concepts which are together represented as a triple. In this way SemantiFire® does the job of extracting structured and related information from unstructured documents. This rich representation allows inferencing (in the form of ontology) to be done on the documents to discover richer information. Further, an entity linking module automatically links the concepts in the documents to publicly available ontologies like Wikipedia to import the metadata available on the web. SemantiFire® provides a SPARQL endpoint that allows complex, inferential queries to be run on the triples that give highly relevant results.
