Semantifire®

Semantifire® is a semantic search engine. Queries and documents are processed semantically that enable semantic search capabilities. The engine builds an ontology from the documents in the enterprise. Furthermore, the documents are linked to a global ontology on the web and stored in RDF, a w3c compliant representation. Storing the documents in RDF enables the user to use complex and inferential queries which are otherwise not supported by the current engines. For example, Semantifire® is capable of processing a query like "Get all resumes of candidates who worked in Fortune 500 companies" when expressed in SPARQL. Additionally, the ontology keeps growing with time. When a chunk of text is identified to be a potential concept it is added to the ontology. Nevertheless, the user/ administrator has the option to edit the ontology. Semantifire® also does content tagging by adding meta data to the document. The meta data adds meaning to the document which is otherwise not present in the text.
