Our summarizer can be used to summarize text in documents. The Summarizer is able to summarize text from single file documets or multiple file documents.

Summarize Single Document
You can summarize a single document by two methods:
Summarize Multiple Documents
You can summarize multiple documents by creating a zip file, that contains all the files which you want to summarize
We are currently working on summarizing a webpage by specifying its URL
This summary generation can be of two types 1) Query Focused 2) Query Independent. If you don't enter any thing in the query box, then it will assume it as query independent
Steps to summarize a document
First decide whether you want the summarize of single document or multiple documents or a web page and click appropriate links.
Then decide on the type of input(Plain text or file for single document or a single zip file for multiple documents).
Then decide on whether you want Query Focused or Query Independent.
Then click on the corresponding link on the right side. You can also go there using the menu (select summarize, then single document or multiple document depending on your requirements and then select the input type).
Then For Multiple Document Summarizer Place all the files you want to summarize in a zip file. If you are giving a zip file, just give the path of the zip file and the length of the summary (number of words)and click summarize. Currently it is supporting only text files.
For Single Document Summarizer, if you are giving an input file, give the path of the file and the number of words required in the summary and click summarize. If you are giving text as input, enter the text (you can paste it as well) and the number of words to be present in the summary and click summarize.
For the Summary of a Webpage give the exact URL of the web page as displayed in your browser. It will generate summary of the web page given. You need not specify length here. We are currently working on it.
Question Answering
Question answering (QA) involves automatic generation of an answer for a question posed in natural language. Our QA system is based on modern information retrieval techniques and uses semantics for selecting content which contain justifiable answer.
